CHRISTINE LAI

Hi! I'm Christine Lai, a third year undergraduate @ USC studying Computer Science, Human-Centered Design, and Business at the Iovine and Young Academy.

Born in Oakland and raised in the Bay Area, my favorite part of growing up was being surrounded by the cultural richness of the Bay. It shaped my curiosity, open-mindedness, and the problem spaces I build in. The different cultures, food, languages, and perspectives influences how I approach design today.

I'm interested in combining design and technology to create immersive, interactive experiences. I enjoy working with my hands, prototyping, and building — you can always find me in the workshop tinkering around with different tools and machines 🛠️. In my free time, I'm designing for my fashion-tech brand AC unit 👘 or cooking 👩🏻‍🍳 a new recipe 👩🏻‍🍳
