Love Frequency 3D Corset

AC unit is a creative studio I co-founded with my best friend, Ally — (A)lly and (C)hristine as a unit. The studio experiments at the intersection of fashion design and technology, exploring how static garments can transform into interactive fashion experiences.

Our first release, Love Frequency, is a 3D-printed, structured resin corset that responds to sound by emitting ambient light. Inspired by how peahens sense the frequency of a peacock’s tail flutter during mating calls, the piece uses music as its signal. When sound is detected, light follows its direction—symbolizing someone who visibly lights up when experiencing love.
